It seems the expansion will come out in March 2018.
Thanks to a PSN leak new information on Destiny 2’s next expansion, titled Gods of Mars, has surfaced.
The US and Japanese PSN stores uploaded a full description about the game’s second expansion, which seems to be coming out in March, ahead of time. Even though the listings have since been deleted, Reddit user GodsofMarsLeak grabbed a few screenshots (which you can view below) before the posts were removed.
According to the PSN description, Gods of Mars features a brand new area for players to explore called the Frigid Vale of Mars. You’ll be going up against Charlemagne, who has reawakened on Mars and imprisoned Rasputin within an ancient vault. With the help from Ana Bray, players must free Rasputin, defeat Charlemagne, and uncover the secrets of Clovis Bray.
Gods of Mars also features a new enemy faction and bosses to battle, new story missions, new gear, weapons and armor, new co-op activities, and new competitive multiplayer arenas. The new enemy faction might be Charlemagne’s Remnants, as the PSN listing suggests the Remnants will be the main enemies players will be battling throughout Gods of Mars.
