Seven day trial available to all Prime members.
Amazon has launched a dedicated Pokemon channel for Prime members, featuring a collection of TV shows and movies for $3 USD per month. A seven-day free trial is currently available.
The Pokemon channel currently includes seasons 2–5 and 10–16 of Pokemon the Series, Pokemon Origins, and four movies: Pokemon: The Movie 2000, Pokemon 3: The Movie, Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea. As noted on the Pokemon website, the movie selection will be rotated “regularly.”
The announcement comes shortly after Amazon shut down its anime-specific streaming channel.
The franchise’s most recent movie, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!, was released last November. IGN’s I Choose You! review called it “a remix of Ash’s biggest and best moments from Season 1 of the Pokemon series, only they aren’t quite as emotionally powerful when they’re all crammed into one 90-minute movie.”
