Never Give U…never mind.
WWE Superstars John Cena and Nikki Bella have reportedly ended their six-year relationship.
Noted first by Us Weekly, with Nikki Bella apparently being the one to end things officially, the WWE power couple have called it quits just a few weeks out from their wedding, which was to happen on May 5th.
While we don’t usually report on real life celeb-couple news, John and Nikki brought their up-and-down relationship to TV on both E!’s Total Divas and spinoff series, which specifically focused on Nikki and Brie and their personal lives, Total Bellas. It was on these shows, as heightened (or un-real, even) as they were, that we learned of Nikki’s desire to get married and have kids while John was extremely guarded, cautious and unwilling to compromise on certain aspects of his tightly-regulated life.
All of that seemed to be behind them though when, last year, John promised to Nikki in the middle of the ring, in front of millions of viewers, after their tag match at WrestleMania 33.
While reports about break-up specifics vary – some have Nikki as being “heartbroken” by John who returned to his old doubting mindset while others have John as the one who’s devastated after Nikki walked away – the decision to end things could impact WWE and E! programming as these two had built each other into their respective brands.
