More to be revealed on May 17?

It seems the official E3 Twitter account has possibly outed Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Zombies mode ahead of its official reveal.

“What’s lurking around the corner of @Treyarch’s next Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies experience?,” the tweet reads. “Come hear the history of Call of Duty Zombies from the creators themselves at #E3Coliseum! Get your gamer pass today and be there. Purchase at http://e3expo.com  #E32018.”

Not much else about the potential mode is currently known. IGN has reached out to Activision for comment and will update this story once we hear back.

Treyarch has been teasing what’s in store for Black Ops 4 all year long. Most recently, the studio hinted at the return of the Pick 10 multiplayer system as well as the inclusion of Perks. Treyarch will share more details about Black Ops 4’s gameplay on May 17.

Activision also recently announced it’s pouring “significant” resources into the PC version of the upcoming Call of Duty game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC worldwide on October 12.
