Far Cry 5’s first DLC, Hours of Darkness, puts you in the shoes of Hope County resident and Vietnam War veteran Wendell Rider as he tells his story of when he was shot down behind enemy lines. In our review of Hours of Darkness, we said that it “is a clever and fun but brief twist on the Far Cry formula.”
The second DLC, Lost on Mars, has you playing as pilot Nick Rye as he helps Hurk prevent an alien invasion by heading to Mars. In our review, we said “the only reason to play Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars is Hurk’s hilarious commentary. The rest is straightforward and dull shooting.”
Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies will be released on August 28, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and is available for $7.99 USD or as part of the season pass for $29.99.
